Drop off and pick up :
- The time limit is two hours, per day. Children must be 6 months or older.
- You must bring your child into the room. Do not drop them off outside the front of the child care room.
- Please provide any required bottle, pacifiers or diapers for infants or toddlers. Our staff is not required to change diapers or feed children but they will work with parents to help with these tasks.
- Please label your child's possessions. Sticky labels are available at the counter.
- For your child's safety, children will only be released to the parent or guardian with whom they arrived with unless prior permission has been provided.
- Absolutely no infant car seats are allowed past the entryway/sign in area. Car seats can either be left in vehicles or on cubbies/under counter in entryway.
- We encourage you to spend time in the child care room to observe interactions and to ensure the comfort of your child on his/her first visits.
- Parents or guardians must remain in the facility at all times while their children are in the child care.
- If you are going for a run you must carry your cell phone with you at all times. Please leave your number with the staff in the child care prior to leaving the building. Boot camp and Group-X participants don't need to carry their phone when going outside.
Personal Items :Outside toys can be disruptive. Only bring appropriate items with your child.
Allowable items are security items, books for older children, tablets/iPads. Examples of inappropriate toys would be toy guns, toy knives, baseball bats, or small items that pose a choking hazard. Good Life Fitness and staff is not responsible for loss or damage of personal items. |
Medication:
Child care staff cannot administer any medications.

No food, gum, or snacks are allowed in the child care area.
Water and infant formula/breast milk are the only drinks allowed.

Illnesses :
Please DO NOT bring any child who is ill.
Children must be fever free for 24 hours prior to entering the child care room.
We will not accept any child who has any illness associated with a fever or with any communicable conditions (ringworm, diarrhea, head lice, pink eye, etc.)

Discipline :
Unacceptable behavior will be addressed if necessary. We do use time outs.
Time out duration is based on the age of your child. One minute per year your child is old. Example : Age 5 = 5 minute time out

- First notice - Incident report filed.
- Second notice - 48 hour suspension of child care use.

Wii/ipad guidelines :
The Wii's are for children 5 and older.
iPads are for children 4 and older.
When the room has 8 or more children over the age requirements who want to play the Wii/iPad there will be a 15-minute time limit per child.
There will be zero tolerance for any child misusing the Wii/iPads (i.e. throwing controller, bossing other players around, bad language, etc.)
Good Life Fitness is not responsible for loss or damage to any Wii games that are bought in by children/parents. No violent games will be allowed.

Our goal is to provide a happy, healthy, and fun atmosphere for your children while you exercise. If we are not meeting or exceeding your expectations, please let us know. Additionally, if you have suggestions as to how we can make the child care room a better experience for your child we would like to know about it!
